teachers meet children and parents at the carline. Children are safely escorted to the playground where they can get their wiggles out before starting in the classroom

centering on: graphing, sorting and classifying, problem solving, matching, brainstorming, letter and number recognition, creative writing in the three day program
Music/movement activities
large group movement to music, class play with five children on the stage, songs, fingerplays
story development (plot, characters, etc), introducing authors and illustrators
Group Story Time
emphasizing: rhyming, prediction skills, memory building activities, repetition
story development (plot, characters, etc), introducing authors and illustrators
Choice time
During this time children move freely through three rooms containing a snack, a teacher-directed art project, and a large motor activity. This helps build their decision-making skills.
Large group time
This second group time reinforces concepts learned and wraps up the day.

End our day with some fresh air and fun
